The Parkland school shooting on 14 February has, unlike most previous school shootings in the United States, sparked a backlash against politicians, the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the lack of action on gun control in the United States. Much of this backlash and action for change has been spearheaded by survivors and families of the victims of the Parkland school shooting in south Florida in which 17 people – mostly children – died. This page features links to articles relating to this backlash and to the efforts to bring about some measure of gun control. I may at some point write another post on the renewed campaigns for gun control but in the meantime I will add related articles here.
