End-to-End – Brian Nulty’s 2009 Land’s End to John O’Groats bike ride

WORK IN PROGRESS……

coverThis section of my blog is dedicated to the bike ride my brother, Brian Nulty, completed in May 2009. He rode from Land’s End to John O’Groats over a period of 19 days and covering 1,156 miles (1,861 km). He undertook the bike ride to raise money for research into motor neurone disease. The disease had claimed the life of Brian’s friend and Best Man, Simon Cunningham in 2006. I kept the details of the bike ride as he progressed across the country, via texts and calls from Brian and produced an offline website using this information and photographs and a log which Brian brought back after the ride. This online version is based on that original website.  On this site you will find a detailed account of the bike ride, featuring statistics, Brian’s own daily log, photographs, maps and links and information on the places he visited on his 1,000 mile-plus journey.  Brian was 46 when he complete the ride. He lives on the Wirral with his wife Linda and works for Wirral Borough Council.
